    Very good

We were only in the area for 1 night in mid-October. It was convenient and easy to find, and on the beach. However it was raining heavily, so we did not get out on the beach. It is a good start for The Cabot Trail.

It seems a little tired looking, but was good value and clean.

    Nice pub

NO AIR CONDITIONING. Windows had to be kept open and there was a lot of noise outside.

    Friendly staff

The bed was like a brick - way too hard...so had limited sleep.

    Exceptional

It is the one of the best hotels we had for my trip. Staff are enthusiastic for the service they provided. Individual ordered breakfast, easy to access on Wifi, very nice room like new. Best view and morning walk in the yard on beach! And walk distance to Canada historical site.

None, although the room is small for 3 of us, and kid have to be on futon.

It was next door to a great coffee shop.

Faded glory. Stayed in Muir Lodge. Buildings were old dated and needed maintenance. Room was clean but needed lots of updates. Facility advertised WIFI ACCESS - there was none. Beach area needed lots of repairs.

    I was quiet.

I could not reach the hotel by phone after repeated attempts and at different times. The gentleman at the front desk was very short and direct with me. The room and buildings were old and dated. I felt that I could have stayed at a nicer place for less money and actually checked with people during dinner and this was the case. The dinning room was quite pricey as compared to other establishments in the area.

Good location on the Cabot Trail and the waitress at breakfast was very friendly.

Decor less than fresh, questionnable cleanliness, overpriced for what you get.

    Superb

Location was excellent and the hiking trails in the Highland Park was awesome. Although an older resort, the friendliness of the staff and the food in the dining room was excellent. The walk on the beach at sunset was perfect!
